This version of the Hillman Mix is finished in deep butterscotch with dark brown hubs, It has the early small writing base plate.
It has black smooth original tyres with no flats and now nice and hard and 'Hillman Minx' cast to the underside of the roof.
It comes in a 154 yellow picture box with correct printed end spots.

Spot-On Toys 155 Black Austin Taxi FX 4 BLUE interior
This Austin Taxi is a scarce variation in traditional black but with a BLUE interior and a cream four pronged steering wheel. The number plates read 'PQT155'. It has nice red tail lights. The base is grey. The wheels are later chrome style hubs.
A very nice model and will be a very satisfying purchase for this missing model. Display quality. This is part of a new 45 model collection of Spot-On just acquired.

Spot-On 155 Austin Taxi FX 4- 1st version
Ultra rare and considered the 'Holy Grail' for Spot-On collectors, this early version in burgundy with a lemon interior and number plates 'PQT 155'. The base is an olive grey colour.
So hard to find in any condition this will certainly be one of the best examples around. For the connoisseur collector and one with deep pockets. A superb presentation piece and will become the pride of any collection.
