Dinky Toys 044B AA Motor cyclist Patrol
Available from a purchased house clearance in Cambridge. The entire purchase of 37 models were dated between 1946-50 and were a genuine childhood collection.
AA motor cyclist in brown with matching cap, darker brown gloves and black boots. He sits on a black motor cycle with a bright yellow side car and front AA emblem badge, silver handle bars and headlamp. Black smooth hubs & tyres.

Nicky Toys 054 Standard Herald

Reminds me when I disposed of a 250 model Nicky collection in September 2003.
Becoming so sought after these crudely made Indian Nicky toys. Receiving the casting of Dinky toys they were assembled in India and hand painted.
Renamed Standard from Triumph Herald this example is an early issue with silver spun shaped hubs and tyres not later plastic hubs and tyres, This example in metallic green with an off white interior and working suspension.

Corgi Toys 054 Fordson “Power Major” Half Track Tractor
A harder to find Corgi 060 Fordson 'Half Track' issue. Finished in blue with orange wheels and grey half track tyres and with black front tyres. The steering wheel, seat and exhaust stack all finished in gleaming silver. This version is with the headlights mounted to the side of the engine and finished with a coloured tow hook. Complete name transfers to each side. of the engine.
