Dinky Toys 674 ‘UN’ Austin Champ
Supplied from the wonderful extensive ‘Welsh’ collection.
Issue date unknown but likely around 1969-70
This very rare little Jeep made for export only was only found and recorded this century, with a limited supply only, identified. Finished in the 'UN' livery of white with military gloss green to the wheel arch surrounds and the hubs. The four main hubs are plastic and the rear mounted spare is metal. The most vulnerable part of this model is it's windscreen which when found can often show cracking. I have seen five examples over the last 30 years two supplied in the red and yellow non picture box and three in the lighter yellow picture box with the machine side cut end tabs.
Tested by ultra violet light and no touch -ups noted.

Supplied from my own collection.
This is a a scarce US export model the Army Staff Car which is the casting of the 170 Forder Forder. Finished in military green it has a large white 'US star' on the roof and smaller stars to the front side doors. With matching wheels, black smooth tyres and a '170' cast large writing base plate.
It comes in a plain yellow box with red writing.
Light tested and totally original.
