Corgi Toys 430 Ford Thunderbird Bermuda Taxi
This was a model sold from my personal collection by request of a customer. All models are available for sale.
Using the Ford Thunderbird convertible body this model was finished in white with yellow seating and silver spun shaped wheels. Included was a driver and a plastic sun canopy with red trimming with a blue top. It is also possible to find the canopy in green and yellow which make a very attractive trio. Less than 250,000 units were made of this model and as a result not always that easy to find. Yellow 'Taxi' labels were applied to each door and 'Bermuda' across the boot. The canopy was placed through a canopy pin into the boot behind the back seats.

Dinky Toys 148 Ford Fairlane. Emerald Green
This is a very scarce emerald green example possibly made for the US & Canadian market place though there was I am sure some UK supply. It comes with lighter grey interior, open front windows and a matt black base plate with no catalog number. It comes as always with silver spun shaped wheels and 'M' tyres. This was the final limited issue of this model.
Fully light tested for any obvious touch ups. None identified. The group picture shows variations available at outset. Only the one advertised model is offered for sale here.

Here is a 'Diecast Gem'
This is one of the three known rare colours of the South African Dinky Ford Fairlane finished in stunning lilac a typical SA colour used for further models such as the Volvo 122S. This is one of the very best of my South African collection this example finished with open front windows with a light grey interior, a black gloss base without model number, white 'M' tyres over silver spun shaped wheels.
Interestingly the other SA example I have in blue has closed front windows and a 148 cast base.

Dinky Toys 148 Ford Fairlane. Rare South African
This is one of the three known rare colours of the South African Dinky Ford Fairlane finished in a stunning blue shade a typical SA colour used for further models such as the MGB and Austin Healey Sprite. This is one of the very best of my South African collection this example finished with closed front windows with a light grey interior, a black gloss base numbered 148, white 'M' tyres over silver spun shaped wheels.
Interestingly the other SA example I have in lilac has open front windows and a base with no number cast. Fully light tested for any obvious touch ups. None identified.

This is a very scarce and sought after, original full trade box of six Triumph 1800 saloon models, with original box and dividers. I believe the original six models, three Tan with green wheels and three blue with same casting and consistent colour shades have been together from outset. Rare to come to the market and a most popular model in the 40 series range. Only seen sight of 2-3 decent high quality full trade box's in 40 years of collecting.
