Sold from my own Dinky collection.
This is a scarce variation of the Leyland Shell B.P. Tanker finished in white over yellow with a white chassis and black plastic wheels. It has complete 'Shell' and 'B.P.' labels on each tanker side and back. There is a spare tyre 'Black ST' mounted to the chassis. Fine cab glazing.
The box is the yellow picture lift off lid style.
Light tested and no touch-ins.

Dinky Toys 945 A.E.C. Fuel Tanker ‘ESSO’
Supplied from the Dutch collection as shown in Sales Book 10.
An early issue and harder to find with black plastic hubs. Usually bare metal/chrome.Dinky 945 A.E.C. Fuel Tanker ESSO is a large petrol tanker in white with a blue interior with black plastic hubs.
To the tanker unit there are two ESSO labels and one red rectangular label each side. As the 1st issue only it has the label on the back of the Tanker 'Put a Tiger in your tank'.
Finishing touches in plastic are in red including the drop down hubs below.
Two grey plastic long hoses are complete in their housing. Light tested and totally original. £195.00

Dinky Toys 949 Wayne School Bus Black Lines
A lovely bright example in its standard orange-yellow with black coach lines and red plastic wheels. Red seating is within and the model is on a black gloss unnumbered base plate. The transfers reading 'School Bus' to the front headboard and repeated at the back are complete with no breaks. The further transfer at the back which reads 'Unlawful to pass when loading or unloading' is also complete.

What a rare Gift Set this is to add to your Dinky collection!
This is a very hard Dinky gift set to find in any condition.
First issued during 1959, this 3 part Gift Set comprises:
1) Dinky 257 Fire Chief’s Car with shaped spun wheels and window glazing, blue light on the roof, perfect ‘Fire Chief’ labels on both doors.
2) Dinky 955 Fire Engine with an all original paint finish ridged Supertoy wheels, bright baseplate and both ladder components and bells present.
3) Dinky 956 Turntable Fire Escape with window glazing, silver platform, ridged Supertoy wheels. Both bells are present on the cab roof, two winding handles operates the raising and lowering of the two-piece extending ladder.
