This is a scarce version in green cab and chassis with a light grey back and cab stripes. Normally found with red plastic wheels this example has grey plastic wheels.
It comes in the yellow pictorial picture box with lift off style.
It comes in a blue box and orange wrap over label , correct for this version.

Dinky Toys 935 Leyland Octopus Chain Lorry
Supplied on request from my own Dinky collection.
Here is one of the rarest Dinky commercials possibly the Holy Grail of post war Dinky commercials.
This is the hardest variation of the Dinky 935 Leyland Octopus Chain Lorry to find. I have only ever seen two examples. This model only had a late 60's two year run and the blue cabs a very short end run in this time.
This example is the darker blue cab with grey bed and matching cab stripe and front bumper. It was finished with red plastic wheels, a darker blue painted tow hook and black ST tyres. The back as with all 935 Chain lorries are fitted with a flat head rivet.
Extremely rare and a sought after model by collections.

Here is a very rare Dinky commercial a late issue.
This is a very hard version to find of the Dinky 935 Leyland Octopus Chain Lorry. I have only seen a few over 40 years. This model only had a late 60's two year run and the blue cabs a very short end run in this time.

Dinky Toys 940 Mercedes Benz Truck Rare ‘Fisons’ Promotional.
A Rare Dinky Diecast cast Promotional.
This Mercedes Benz Truck is finished in white with a red chassis and interior and grey plastic removeable cover. Within are two 'Fisons' rich dark peat boxes. On the side of the grey cover are 'Fisons' labels which read 'The Garden People'. There are also 'Fisons' labels to either cab side. The wheels are white plastic.
It is presented in a blue-red-yellow window box with no numbering and a 'Fisons' label to the front.
A very scarce model which rarely comes to the market.

Dinky Toys 941 Foden Mobilgas Tanker
Here is a scarce and superb Mobilgas Tanker. Possibly the best I have ever had.
Finished in all over red with matching ST wheels this model has a full length and down one side black ladder and black fill caps. Emblazoned with 'Mobilgas' transfers to both side and the rear. It has black grip ST tyres and a spare below and a painted tow hook to the rear.
It comes in a dual stripped blue box.
Fully light tested and approved.

Dinky Toys 942 Foden Regent Tanker
This is a most attractive Dinky Regent tanker. Finished in midnight blue cab and chassis with red ST wheels it has a tanker back in red and midnight blue separated by a white stripe. A ladder runs the full length of the tanker roof and down one side in black and has two black tanker fill in roof caps. Attractive transfers are on each side saying 'Regent' and the back of the tank also has an attractive motif.
Fully light tested and two tiny touch-ins found along the white stripe along the tank.
o base red, white and midnight blue it was finished with red ST wheels and Supertoys treaded black tyres. On the top a very nice black , rust free ladder. Nice black filler caps on the top. Nice tyres and wheels and spare below chassis.
The side transfers on each side say ?REGENT? in cream with black edging and a transfer on the back of the tank in red, blue and deep blue.

Dinky Toys 943 Leyland Octopus ESSO Tanker

A very scarce late issue ESSO Tanker with red plastic wheels. rarely do you come across this hard to find issue as usually found with the red 'ST' wheels this has been in my own collection since 2007.
A fine red tanker with black topside full length ladder and black petrol caps. It has a matching painted tow hook the large 'ESSO' logo transfer to the rear and full side transfers reading 'ESSO PETROLEUM COMPANY,CO.'
It comes in a stripped blue and white lift off box.
Light tested and one touch-in in white to the rear transfer.

Dinky Toys944 Leyland Shell B.P. Fuel Tanker
Sold from my own Dinky collection.
This is the Leyland Shell B.P. Tanker finished in white over yellow with a white chassis and grey plastic wheels. It has complete 'Shell' and 'B.P.' labels on each tanker side and back. There is a spare tyre 'Black ST' mounted to the chassis. Fine cab glazing.
The box is the harder to find later flap end picture box.
Light tested and no touch-ins.

Dinky Toys 944 Corn Products Tanker Promotional
Supplied on request from my own Dinky collection.
Here is one of the rarest Dinky commercials the special promotional 'Corn Products Tanker.
Based on the second casting of the Leyland Petrol Tanker incorporating a plastic tanker shell a special promotional model was produced from the BP-Shell petrol Tanker. (Ist casting was Dinky 943 ESSO Petrol Tanker with metal tank)
Issued with a white cab, tanker body, white plastic hubs and black chassis, "Corn Products (Sales) Ltd" to front of cab and "Sweeteners for Industry" on black paper label decal band around tanker body -plain white lift off lid card box with yellow base.
Several have survived but are extremely rare with most surviving models tucked away in cherished collections.
