A scarce variation.
This example has a red cab with windows and a cream back with red plastic wheels. Note the radiator is silver not black and the base plate has the last issue black matt base. Very scarce. Nice bobbly tyres complete.

Here is a rare variant of the 410 Bedford End Tipper in yellow and blue back with no windows but with 'Cream' ridged wheels.
The only example I have ever seen in 40 years collecting.
It has a mottled base plate and no model number cast below.
Light tested and has a small touch-in to the back panel.

Dinky Toys 410 Bedford End Tipper (Windows) version
Supplied from my own collection. As advertised in Sales Book 8.
This is a scarce later version of the Bedford End Tipper in yellow and blue with yellow ridged wheels and black smooth tyres but with window glazing.
This little tipper lorry is finished in yellow with matching ridged wheels and a mid blue back. It has a mottled early base with no numbering.
Light tested and original.

This is a scarce version of the standard 'no windows' version of the yellow and blue Bedford End Tipper with the yellow wheels due to a rare casting to the rear wheel arches...
The casting of the rear wheel arches do not finish straight down but have a curved finished.

Dinky Toys 410 Bedford End Tipper
Shop Stock.
Shop stock means models have never been in circulation. They have come straight from the selling supplier. There are no touch-ups unless by the factory and no repairs to model or box. It does not mean every model and box are perfect. Models, particular Dinky Toys left the factory with many imperfections. Ex; Chipping, (red and yellow paint is well known) and box rubs and crushes through storage.
Supplied from a Somerset shop owners estate in September 2022 who retained some shop stock Dinky Toys in long term storage dating from 1953-1961.
Issued between 1954-61.
Here is a Bedford End Tipper in red and cream early version with no windows. Matching red ridged hubs with black smooth tyres.
Light tested and totally original.
