Spot On made by Triang were originally launched in 1959 and produced in Belfast Northern Ireland. Their production was short lived and ceased when Triang bought dinky toys in 1967. Today they are highly sought after models by the collector. Good boxes are even harder to find as the construction was not as strong as those of competitor makers.
This example in pale green and a black roof has a cream interior, red steering wheel and black rubber grip tyres. This was a right hand drive model with glazing and suspension. The base is grey.

The body work is bright with just minor box rub marks. The silver bright work is showing a little under spray and rubbing to front. The black roof is extended on the left roof edge. The number plates are complete. The suspension is fully working. The wheels, glazing, base are fine but three tyres have slight flats probably stood in a warm place for some time.
A nice model and very presentable. Note; I acquired a collection of about 40 Spot-On cars from Australia some boxed some unboxed and many have been sold before getting to the website. This is one of the remaining twelve models.
Both main end flaps are missing which is such a shame as it’s a nice box otherwise.
