This is a later issue of the Standard Vanguard finished in blue with cream ridged wheels. It has the 153 larger writing base plate, tail lights and the later 'M' tyres. Fully light tested and no touch-ins.

Supplied from my own collection on request. 'A Diecast Gem' This is a rare and sought after 40 series model of the Standard Vanguard in all over maroon. Rare to come to the market it is finished with smooth black original tyres, a large writing base plate and ridged hubs. This  is a very rare colour issued at the transitional stage of renumbering in 1953. It may have been supplied in a later trade box, a dual numbered individual or 153 box with a maroon spot applied. An amazing model in superb condition. Fully light tested and totally original.

Bright example of this 153 Standard Vanguard in beige with matching wheels. It has smooth tyres and a large writing mottled base plate. It comes in a yellow picture box with correct end spots. Light tested and original.

This is the early US Jeep in military drab green with matching ridged wheels and rear mounted spare. It has a large white 'star' on the bonnet and a smalll star to the rear left flank. The fixed metal windscreen and steering wheel are in matching green. Light tested and original.

A lovely clean example of this rare early version of the two tone Hillman Minx. It comes in cerise over pale blue with blue ridged wheels but the only example I have seen with early 40f style small writing base plate. If there is another variation nut, like me you may get excited over this. Its a contradiction of terms, a late issue two tone with early 40f base plate clearly shows an example of old base plates hanging around the factory and being used up for much later productions.

Sold from my own collection. This yellow with white roof Ford Taunus saloon has a red interior, chrome hubs, all round suspension and features opening bonnet-doors. It sits on its stand within it's hard plastic case.
