2) Corgi 58 Beast Carrier complete with green removable plastic netting and four calves. Contained in a yellow plastic cage supported on a red trailer with matching metal hubs.

Corgi Gift Set 38 Monte Carlo Rallye
Corgi Gift Set 38 1965 Monte Carlo Rally. A superb and most popular gift set.
The set comprises:
1) Corgi 318 Mini Cooper ‘S’ in bright red finish with a white roof, jewelled head and spotlights. In mint condition, with complete racing number ‘52’ on both sides. Complete Monte Carlo labels on bonnet and boot, shaped spun wheels with suspension. Sump guard is nice and shiny.
2) Corgi 322 Rover 2000 in lustrous metallic maroon finish with a white roof. Graded Almost mint. Other than one side racing number with a slight mark this model has no faults. Shaped spun wheels with suspension, jewelled headlights and “Trans-O-Lite” lights. Superb.
3) Corgi 323 Citroen DS19 in pale blue finish with a white roof. A superb mint example. Shaped spun wheels with suspension, jewelled lights, intact aerial on the roof. Racing number ‘75’ on both sides, Rally labels on bonnet and boot. Exceptional fresh condition on this model.

Corgi Gift Set 38 Monte Carlo Rallye
Corgi Gift Set 38 1965 Monte Carlo Rally. A superb and most popular gift set.
The set comprises:

Corgi Gift Set 48 with Rare Orange MGB GT
Supplied from my own collection.
This rare set includes the following models;
1) Corgi 1148 Scammell Car Transporter with a gleaming red and white with all four yellow fixing clips intact. In virtually mint condition. Looks unused.
2) Corgi 345 MGC GT, a rare find in brilliant orange, black interior, jewelled lights and intact suspension on spoked wheels. Near mint plus condition with a few small marks. Fine original tyres. Racing number 4 numerals applied.
3) Corgi 340 Sunbeam Imp ‘Monte Carlo’ in bright metallic blue. Very, near mint plus condition. Notably intact suspension on shaped spun hubs. Slight loss to left side transfer. Occasional tiniest mark besides.
4) Corgi 201 The Saint’s Volvo. Near mint plus with one noteable mark to the boot only. Very scarce issue in white with a red bonnet label and shaped spun hubs. Very, very close to mint condition!
5) Corgi 249 Morris Mini Cooper De-Luxe in black with a red roof and complete ‘wickerwork’ side panels. Suspension on detailed cast wheels. About mint.
6) Corgi 339 Mini Cooper ‘S’ Monte Carlo in red and white with chrome roof rack and two spare tyres. Complete racing numbers '177'. Intact number plates and complete Monte Carlo labels front and rear. The side numbers now opaque. In near mint condition.
7) Corgi 226 Morris Mini Minor in metallic maroon with suspension on detailed cast wheels. Mint.

A sought after rare Corgi Gift Set 5 with the following pieces;
Issued between 1967-72, it comprises:
1) Corgi 484 Livestock Transporter in beige and green with silver shaped hubs. A couple of tiny marks. Working suspension.
2) Corgi 438 Land Rover in dark green with a yellow interior and silver shaped hubs. Tiniest marks only.
3) Corgi 69 Massey Ferguson Tractor & Shovel & Farmer in red with silver shovel and driver. In mint condition,
4) Corgi 62 Tipper Trailer in red and yellow & red plastic hubs, complete with raves. 2-3 tiny nick to pick up and trailer front.
5) Corgi 71 Fordson Disc Harrow in red, yellow and silver. A couple of minor marks only.
6) Corgi 1490 Three Churns, Farmer & dog.
7) Four calves set on the original card ‘hay’ piece.
8) Three pigs & two piglets set on the original card ‘hay’ piece.
9) Four brown sacks.
The polystyrene tray is quite clean, fresh and complete, with only a little light grubbiness in places. Bright Corgi dog label too!
The outer card & cellophane box is brightly-coloured and complete.

This popular Corgi Gift Set was inspired by the children’s T.V. programme Daktari (Swahili for doctor!).
Corgi Gift Set 7 Daktari. Spun hubs issue, complete with all characters and accessories.
1) Corgi 438 Land Rover. in green with black stripes, spun shaped hubs, yellow interior and complete transfer below the front windows. It comes complete with tiger on the bonnet, Dr. Marsh Tracy (with his stethoscope and chimp). All remain secure in boxed position. Suspesnion and a grey base.
Also within the box remaining secure are the figures of Paula and of course, the cross-eyed lion Clarence, complete with spectacles! So often these sets are found with the spectacles and stethoscope missing (so easily lost).
Nice to see this set complete.

Corgi Toys GS 40 Part Set. Steed Bentley
From the Gift set 40 The Avengers, this is an opportunity to obtain a scarce Red Bentley with gold wheels. No other part of the gift set is for sale.
The Bentley has a red body with black chassis and steed driving at the wheel. It has gold spoke wheels.
For 3 years only this wonderful gift set was a boys and even girls dream. Whether for Christmas or a birthday it was a very special present and depicted a very popular action TV drama at the time. There were colour variations with a green or red Bentley model and various wheel colours. The above listing is a very scarce variant.

Spot-on Toys Presentation Set ‘A’
This rare set was never advertised in any of the Spot-on catalogues but was presented in the 'Hamley's general catalogue of 1961. It was packed with type 3 packaging.
Contents of five cars are as follows;
Spot-on Presentation Set 'A'.
No 102 Bentley with emerald green top section and silver lower section with a red interior and a cream three pronged steering wheel. The registration plates read 'CMO 118'.
No 108 Triumph TR3 Sports is in metallic green with a cream interior and matching three pronged steering wheel. It has complete and un-damaged windscreen and the original wooden block sits on the gear lever and protects the screen. Lovely polished spun domed wheels. The registration plates read 'BMP 104'.
No 114 Jaguar 3.4 litre is in sea-green finish with a red interior and a cream four pronged steering wheel. There are no registration plates but probably as made.
No 118 BMW Isetta is in pale blue with a lemon interior and a black three pronged steering wheel. The registration plates read 'LBL 100'.
No 154 Austin A40 is in all over red with a lemon interior and a black three pronged steering wheel. The registration plates read 'SLT 105'. There is all round working suspension.
This must be one of the finest examples around of this very scarce set. A wonderful piece to own and one I will be very sad to release from my own collection.
