Produced to coincide with the popular TV series, this was a great fun action car allowing the UNCLE team to alternate shooting out of the window as you pressed down the roof switch.
This Oldsmobile car has a gleaming, deep purple-blue finish, bright and complete bonnet logo, bright chrome parts including chromed plastic spot lamps, detailed cast wheels. If you press the roof periscope the figure moves from side to side to shoot the enemy! .An outstanding display item, especially with such a notably clean, fresh and bright bonnet label:

The most difficult to find of the three Citroen Winter Sports vehicles made by Corgi. This white and blue Citroen is in all original condition with a beautifully detailed perfect “Grenoble” transfer on the bonnet. All delicate roof parts are complete and intact. Ski-ing and figure on sled are still present. All original parts. There is no instruction leaflet. It features an opening and drop down tailgate and the rear seats can be upright or stow flat. The model has silver spun shaped wheels and black grip tyres.

Dinky Toys 501 Foden Wagon 1st Cab
From my own collection.
This was the first colour release and a scarce model for this 1st series Foden wagon. Finished in pale grey over a black chassis with red cab flashes and matching ridged wheels. It has the original and correct herringbone tyres in black including the spare mounted to the base. This early version has no tow hook or cast for the hook.

Dinky Toys 501 1st Cab Foden 8 Wheel Wagon
Supplied from my own collection.
This is a very scarce early issue light grey 1st cab Foden Wagon with a black chassis and red ridged wheels and cab side flashes. It has no mount block for a rear tow hook and no tank slots which were both not introduced until October 1948. An additional important point is that it has no casting support for the chain posts underneath as this was not introduced until January 1952. There is a spare tyre mounted to the chassis by a correct silver nut and bolt. Please note that a black nut and bolt were not issued for any 1st cab model. Finally, as an early release it has the black herringbone original tyres which remain pliable and a full '20mph' transfer on the rear left wheel arch.
A very hard model and colour variation to find in any condition, which must be one of the best examples around.
Fully light tested and no signs of any added touches.

Dinky Toys 501 1st Cab Foden 8 Wheel Wagon
I am now making available for sale my whole Foden collection built up and constantly upgraded over the last 25 years.
Here is a superb example of the 1st cab Foden Wagon in red cab and chassis and a taupe back with silver cab flashes.
This was the last colour run for the 1st Cab version which has a mount block to house a large un-painted rear tow hook and has tank slots which were both not introduced after October 1948. It continues to have no casting support for the chain posts underneath as this was not introduced until January 1952. There is a spare tyre mounted to the chassis by a correct silver nut and bolt. Finally as a later release it has the black grip original tyres which are starting to harden with no flats and a full '20mph' transfer on the rear left wheel arch.
