Dinky Toys 281 Luxury Coach
Cream body with orange body stripes, cream ridged wheels and smooth tyres. Standard base. This model was first released in 1951 under its former code 29g. They were for sale through a trade box of six. In 1954 models were recoded to 281 and given their own individual box. It was issued in many colours making this a very attractive model for the variant collector. This model was never numbered on it?s base plate.
Ideal as a gap filler or for a trade box.
Fully light tested and no known touch-ins.

Dinky Toys 028c Manchester Guardian Delivery Van 1st Issue
Here is an original and very hard issue to find in any condition, a 28 series 1st issue delivery van, in the black cab & chassis and dark red box section with cerise washed metal wheels in 'The Manchester Guardian advertising on each box side in gold lettering. Any 28 series van is a difficult find but in this condition and rare to come to the market.
What an opportunity for the connoisseur Dinky collector. The best I have seen in 40 years of collecting. Fully light checked for touch-ins and none identified.

A most attractive finish on this Dinky 281 Luxury Coach in bright blue with cream side flashes and lemon wheels. This is one of two late issue colours and the box pictures were changed to promote these colours. A little harder to find now. The mottled base plate never promoted its catalogue now upon it.
The yellow picture box has the correct blue end spots.
Fully light tested and free of any known added touch-ins.

This is a rare version of the Luxury Coach with a cream finish, orange side flashes and green ridged wheels. It comes in a dual 29G/281 picture box.
It has been light tested and reveals one well camouflaged added touch-in to the front of the roof.

Spot-On Toys 281 Red MG MK 2 (Speeding)
This attractive model had a short run at the end of Spot On production and can only be found I believe in bright red with a white interior. The driver is in brown. With nice shiny aluminium hubs, bright chrome work and all round suspension this is a very beautiful model. There is an 'MG' badge transfer on the boot and the number plates read 'CMO 118'. It comes in the large window box with some graphics to the back card along with a Policeman blowing his whistle and attempting to stop the speeding car.
Not so easy to find. Contents are beautiful. A re cellophaning job may be worthwhile but not essential. Very presentable for the cabinet.
