This Dinky Toys 025X Commer Breakdown Lorry is one of the early issues and colour variants. Scarce and a sought after model. Finished with a dark grey cab and sea-blue back section with red ridged wheels. It has original black smooth tyres, original stringing to black tow hook and a mottled black base plate.
It comes in an early orange lift off box with orange label which stretches to both box ends.
Light tested and no added touch-ins.

A lovely example which will light up any display. Occasional small nicks from mint to the cab but the grey is a very forgiving colour and not easily seen. The blue back displays no chipping. The crank handle has no erosion and remains smooth. The tow hook is nice and wrapped to avoid any rubbing.
This model has been tucked away in my collection over 20 years.
