An early issue and harder to find with black plastic hubs. Usually bare metal/chrome.
Dinky 945 A.E.C. Fuel Tanker ESSO is a large petrol tanker in white with a blue interior with black plastic hubs.
To the tanker unit there are two ESSO labels and one red rectangular label each side. As the 1st issue only it has the label on the back of the Tanker ‘Put a Tiger in your tank’.
Finishing touches in plastic are in red including the drop down hubs below.
Two grey plastic long hoses are complete in their housing.
Light tested and totally original.

Amazing condition for a heavy model with moving artic unit. Virtually mint with little evidence of any chipping. Labels complete. Stain to the back label. Lovely Tanker model.

This is the first issue in a flap style carded pictorial box. It has the later matching cut slits to the tabs. A heavy model for such a box. However matters were not improved when the later releases came in bubble pack containers.
Complete with all flaps and no tears or repairs. Some lighter age wear only but a good box.
