Dinky Toys 935 Leyland Octopus Chain Lorry

Description

Supplied on request from my own Dinky collection.

Here is a very rare Dinky commercial a late issue.

This is a very hard version to find of the Dinky 935 Leyland Octopus Chain Lorry. I have only seen a few over 40 years. This model only had a late 60’s two year run and the blue cabs a very short end run in this time.

This example is the darker blue cab with grey bed and primrose yellow  cab stripe and front bumper. It was finished with grey plastic wheels, a darker blue painted tow hook and black ST tyres. The back as with all 935 Chain lorries are fitted with a flat head rivet.

Extremely rare and a sought after model by collections.

Please read my article on this model found in the ‘Articles’ section.
