A very scarce example of the Leyland Octopus wagon usually found in yellow and green. This version has a dark blue cab and chassis with a primrose yellow back and cab stripes finished with later red plastic hubs.
It has ST superb fresh well shaped black tyres with spare below, a painted dark blue tow hook and a riveted back.
The box top is superb with a small neat shop keepers price label to one end. The box base is solid with no sun fading but some scuffing to the base. It has the protector card thats sits behind the cab.A very nice box with the code W6 62 telling you it was issued in June 1962. It is the correct box with the slanted writing of ‘Dinky Supertoys‘ The box base only has minor marks.
Nice to see the factory applied dark blue sticker to one end.Superb.
