Rarest issue of the 2nd Cab Chain lorry.

This is a very rare Dinky 2nd Cab Foden Chain Lorry. Finished in mid blue and grey with mid blue ST hubs.

As a late issue it has the riveted back. Well shaped black ST tyres and spare.

It comes in the correct later blue stripped box with ‘Dinky Supertoys’ in italics not bold upright letters. A nice finish it shows a factory blue end spot to one end.

Light tested with a UV lamp and totally original.

A superb example of this rare Foden in very near mint condition. A mark to roof edge with small marks besides. Remarkably clean arches. Some loss to painted tow hook and a little chrome loss to flat head rivet.

Extremely rare. Only 3-4 examples seen in 40 years.

Box Condition

A very nice box. The box base has light scuffing to one short edge only. The box top like the base is stong with no corner damage. Small surface mark to the box top above the ‘S’. Nice clear blue end spot.

A rare model and box combination in fantastic condition.
