Dinky Toys 514 Guy Weetabix Van

Description

Supplied from my own collection.

Always an Iconic and sought after Dinky commercial. This is the first issue in yellow with the early yellow ridged hubs and black smooth tyres.

It comes in a blue box with orange wrap over label.

So often found with added touch-ins this model has been light tested and is totally original.

Excellent Plus - Some obvious markings, a major chip or several smaller. Any touch-ins are always clearly stated.

Item Condition

A very presentable example. There are a few chips. The main concentration is around the left rear wheel arch.

The side transfers are very near mint and look great. One of the most vulnerable areas are the back door handles and these again are supoeb  with only the faintest rub. Note chips to the top right corner of the cab-a main chip on right side over the word ‘Food’-and right rear edge on right roof edge. The cab roof is very nice and the roof of the box only a small nick.

If mint would sell for around £2500-£3500.

Priced to sell. All Original with no touch-ins.

Box Condition

Good Plus - General age wear, complete or badly removed price label. Maybe some unsightly graffiti or tape residue present.
(All items graded out of 5)

Box Condition

The box is solid. The base is excellent with some base scuffing. The box top has complete labelling. The blue box covering is age faded and there is a small piece missing along the front bottom edge.
