This Foden 1st cab tail board lorry is a rare issue believed to be only released for about one year in 1953-54 in Brunswick green cab and chassis with a green bed and ST hubs with black ST tyres. It has a mould block and houses a bare metal tow hook. The axle rods are held by metal clips. There are no casting supports chain bosses and tank slits like the casting for the petrol tankers.
Light tested and original except for two tiny touch ins unseen by the eye..

The condition of this rare piece is close to mint with a superb overall presentation except for the two tiny touch ins which do not detract from the appearance of this superb example. Grey ST tyres with tiniest flat to one and spotless green hubs and base plate.

A solid box with red wrap over label and green ‘G’ to one end. Staples now rusty but no damage. Light age wear only.
