Description
Made available from my own collection.
This fine example of the red Mersey Police Van has matching red ridged wheels and an un-painted rear tow hook. Transfers are on each door in large yellow letters and reads ‘Mersey Tunnel’ and in black and yellow to the front which reads ‘Police’.
It has the mottled base plate with 255 cast and runs on smooth black tyres now nicely hardened.
Light tested and no touch-ins.

A superb example so close to mint. Tiny corner rub, tyres now nicely hardened with no flats and complete transfers. One front wheel has a casting flaw. The rear tow hook and base are clean.
