A difficult set to find. Dinky 245 Superfast Gift Set.
Three models remain fully attached to the inner card mount and they comprise of the following;
i) 131 ‘E’ Type Jaguar has a white finish, bright red detailed interior, plated wing mirrors and intact number plates front and rear. Finely spoked silver cast wheels. Intact silver plastic aerial. Opening doors, bonnet (detailed silver engine), and side-opening rear hatch. Mint. Strung with the original blue plastic tabs to the inner.
ii) 153 Aston Martin DB6 has a silver-blue metallic finish, red interior, with spoked wheels, intact number plates at both ends. Opening doors, bonnet (detailed silver engine), and opening rear hatch. Mint paintwork but some chrome bumper loss. Strung with the original blue plastic tabs to the inner.
iii) 188 Jensen FF has an original bright yellow paint finish, detailed black interior and cast wheels. Opening bonnet and doors, number plates. Jewelled lights. Front and rear number plates. Strung with the original blue plastic tabs to the inner. In fine mint condition.

Both Jenson & ‘E’ Type Jaguar are pristine mint. The Aston Martin has some chrome loss to the plated bumpers. These models have never been removed from the back card and retain original strong retainers. A very nice and scarce set.
The vivid orange-yellow card inner is close to perfect. Really fresh and bright with only the tiniest fault.
The outer window box retains the original unbroken cellophane and all end flaps. Some creases/small crush to one box end. No additional tearing to the machine cut end tabs. A very nice set!
