Dinky Toys 189 Triumph Herald Promotional

Description

Rare Promotional released from my personal collection on request.
‘Many other colours are available on request as of January 2020’.

A very rare promotional which were produced in several colours, some solid like this example and some with white sections. I have found the solid colours harder to find over the years.

Finished in all over black with spun silver wheels.

Item Condition

Overall in very nice condition with no obvious play wear. The silver coach line on each side is thin. It also has silver lines to the roof edging. Only an occasional mark.

A superb and rare model only released in small numbers with colours selected by the Triumph company to help promote the colours they planned to release. Whether each colour was released I am not sure.

A very rare promotional and one of the hardest colours to find in sold black.

Fully light tested and no touch ups to report.

A complete and correct lighter yellow picture box with factory applied black end spots. One main end flap has been re attached at the tab end and a starter tear is present to the other end. Overall looking tired and showing some wear with creases but a rare box.
