A hard earlier version to find especially with a correct nice box.

This is a scarce Hudson Commodore finished in dark blue and a tan canopy with tan ridged hubs. It has the larger writing base plate.

It comes with a correct 171 yellow picture box with blue printed end spots.

Black light tested and original.

Such a difficult find and equally hard box in superb condition is a very scarce find.

The paint finish is superb. One rear tyre has a small flat but the model still rolls well. Other than this hard to find fault. Lovely shiny base in original condition with un-marked hubs.

The box is strong with nice flaps though one main flap has had a sound repair.

Nice bright blue end spots on a 171 box. two areas of colour loss to the yellow box, possible past damp damage.
