Scarce late version in Burgundy over cream with silver painted wheels.
The right rear wheel is the silver spun style so an interesting model released through quality control (if there was any). In addition it has ‘black ‘M’ tyres and a black gloss base. Interesting with the mixed wheel types.
First issued in 1958 this model went through various colour, wheel and base changes.
The all cream model is particularly hard to source and can be found in matt and semi gloss finish. There were also three box changes. This example of thee later red and yellow panel non picture box with white end spot is harder to find and was released in the early 60’s. It came with silver spun wheels and like this example with the silver painted wheels. All models had window glazing.

Very clean non picture later red and yellow panel box with correct cream spot at one end. A light crease on the lower length side. Pencil pricing at one end. Date coding inside box flap shows June 1961 issue.
