Item Condition
This is a very rare Austin Somerset finished in red with yellow ridged wheels and an early 40J base plate. The overall condition is very nice with little evidence of chipping however the high edges on each side show evidence of some box rubbing. I have only known of two such examples in this colour combination and therefore I would assume a very rare model. The wheels, tyres and base plate are all in very nice condition with perfect rivets. The tyres have no flats and remain flexible.

Box Condition
A correct early 40J number box with no colour indicators showing the standard blue and red models either side. Lovely condition and close to very near mint. Light pencil pricing to one end. Great flaps with plenty of spring.
