Here is a ‘Diecast Gem’
This is one of the three known rare colours of the South African Dinky Ford Fairlane finished in stunning lilac a typical SA colour used for further models such as the Volvo 122S. This is one of the very best of my South African collection this example finished with open front windows with a light grey interior, a black gloss base without model number, white ‘M’ tyres over silver spun shaped wheels.
Interestingly the other SA example I have in blue has closed front windows and a 148 cast base.

A superb example mint example, rare to find in any condition but this model superb, original and with no touch-ins. One or two marks to the base but this is normal . Rarely will you ever find a SA Dinky with no scratching to the base.Striking with the red interior it has a clean black shiny base plate with no number. The wheels and tyres are like new.
Fully light tested for any obvious touch ups. None identified.
A rare model and great investment piece. South African Dinky are rising strongly in the market place.
