This is one of the three known rare colours of the South African Dinky Ford Fairlane finished in a stunning blue shade a typical SA colour used for further models such as the MGB and Austin Healey Sprite. This is one of the very best of my South African collection this example finished with closed front windows with a light grey interior, a black gloss base numbered 148, white ‘M’ tyres over silver spun shaped wheels.
Interestingly the other SA example I have in lilac has open front windows and a base with no number cast. Fully light tested for any obvious touch ups. None identified.

A superb example with just a couple of tiniest marks only from mint. Rare to find in any condition but this model superb, original and with no touch-ins. An unusual to find very clean base plate with no scratches. An extremely attractive Dinky alongside the British green shades. The wheels and tyres are like new.
