A ‘Diecast Gem’ Incredible condition for a 1934 Pre-War model.
Here is an original early Pre-War 28 series delivery van finished in dark blue with cerise washed wheels advertising ‘Pickfords Removals’
The best example in 28 series I have ever handled.

This beautiful model, totally original and with no touch ups has hardly a mark to be found. The right front mudguard edge has a scrape but the other side has no marking. All side panels and bonnet I see no chipping. The transfers are complete with no loss. The cerise washed wheels vary in colour strength the left rear being the lightest.
For a model that is 85 years old and made in the first year of Dinky Toys production it is remarkable how it has retained its original condition out of it’s box all these years.still a very nice and rare piece. An important part of the Dinky history. No evidence of corrosion or damage.
A great opportunity for the Pre war Dinky collector specialist.
None. Sold from a trade box of six different advertising vans. I believe the current world record sale for Dinky is a trade box of these 1st series delivery vans.
