This Dinky Toys 025X Commer Breakdown Lorry is one of the early issues and colour variants. Scarce and a sought after model. Finished with a dark brown cab a green back with white writing ‘Dinky Service’ and red ridged wheels with black smooth tyres. It has original stringing to black tow hook and a mottled black base plate.
It comes in an early orange lift off box with orange label which stretches to both box ends.
Light tested and a possible light green faded area on the jib.

A bright example and close to near mint. There are 4-5 noteable chips to the cab with a clean green back just occasional high edge rubs. There is a pale area on the green jib near the end. I am not sure if this is a touch-in or a fade area.
The wind up handle is nice and shiny, just a small ring of corrosion, with nice wheels and running tyres.
Overall a very presentable model.

A very nice strong box with full label and no damage. No damage, just occasional marks earned over time. Straples now rusty.
