Description
A very scarce example of the Leyland Octopus wagon usually found in yellow and green. This version has a dark blue cab and chassis with a primrose yellow back and cab stripes finished with later red plastic wheels. It has ST black tyres with a spare mounted to the underside of the chassis. A dark blue tow hook is at the rear.

This rare model displays beautifully and appears close to mint with only minor imperfections within the paint work.
However there are several extremely well matched touch-ins which show up under the ultra violet lamp and therefore, the model is downgraded accordingly.
A very scarce colour variation and superb presentation.
Light tested and shows some professional touches around the primrose yellow wsgon.

Box Condition
A very nice box with the code W6 62 telling you it was issued in June 1962. It is the correct box with the slanted writing of ‘Dinky Supertoys‘ The box base only has minor marks.
Nice to see the factory applied dark blue sticker to one end.Superb.
