One of the great range of Crescent racing cars the Mercedes was finished in silver with cast driver in cream overalls and brown helmet. It has cast wheels, black rubber tyres and a cream base plate. Original racing numerals ‘No 12’ are on the bonnet and sides.
So often now these racing cars are discovered with metal fatigue, the driver is particularly vulnerable and the model can expand with cracking. This example displays no signs of fatigue.
Light tested and no signs of added touch ins.

A superb example and one of the best I have seen. Occasional mark but close to mint. A chip to the driver head. Rolls beautifully.
A solid box with all flaps though two side flaps repaired with tape. The pictorial racing scene was one of the best artwork scenes throughout the diecast model range though the box quality can deteriorate very easily. Some wear now showing.
