Corgi Gift Set 21 Chipperfield’s Circus Set. A difficult set to aquire only being released for two years and has become very desirable. Complete with retailers card this set contains;
1144 Chipperfields Crane & Cage with Elephant. A Scammell Handyman MKIII in blue and red finish with a silver jib and hook. Complete ‘Come to the Circus’ label correctly on one side only. Complete Chipperfields label on the cab. Brown plastic cage contains the original elephant has an intact opening rear door and ‘plastic bars’ section. Chipperfield’s Circus label.
1139 Menagerie Transporter Unit with swivelling drawbar. Finished in the familiar red and blue Chipperfields colours. 3 plastic moulded cages with colourful labels, complete with plastic ‘window boxes’, beneath which you will find the *full complement of original animal figures i.e. 2 lions (one male one female) , two bears (mother and baby) and two tigers. Intact winch ring on top of all three cages. Looks unused. Fixing cord in situ. Detailed cast hubs and as-new original tyres.

As good as new except the wind up winch arm has lost all brightness. No sign of chipping. A remarkable set stored away carefully for many years.

An excellent box with a sound cellophane window. Light shelf wear and crushing but still a very nice box. Polystyrene case is sound with no damage. Double adhesive pads remain intact for securing animals.
