Supplied from the ‘Classic’ collection.
This was the 2nd issue of four recorded variations in this iconic gift set.
1. The Transporter comes in dark metallic blue finish, yellow lettering, shaped spun hubs, tan interior and a mid grey base, firm suspension, clear window glazing, drop down ramp at the rear.
2. The 151 Lotus Mark Eleven Le mans comes in greyish blue with no suspension & racing number ‘3’ and has dark red seating. Early style flat spun hubs.
3. The 150s Vanwall comes in red with nice firm suspension, has racing number ’25’ and early flat silver hubs.
4. The 152 BRM comes in light green with firm suspension & comes with racing numbers ‘3’ and union jack flag to bonnet. It has early flat silver hubs. Collectors spoke covers applied.
It comes in a blue and yellow lift off style box complete with packing pieces and original instruction sheet.
