Description
Corgi Gift Set 13 Renault R16 Tour De France Paramount Film Unit. 1st Issue example with the pictorial backed display card. It comes in a window box with bright pictorial shop keepers display which shows the tree scene.
The Renault 16 is white with gloss black roof and bonnet with a red interior.It sits on cast wheels and has a bright silver base plate. The cameraman is present with camera and has a roof mounted /’Paramount Movies’ sign. Red ‘Tour de France’ door transfers and colourful motif to the bonnet.
The box is the window display style. Has a bubble sealed cyclist to the display backing card and a black plastc bike mount.
It stands on a complete polystyrene stand.
Light tested and totally original.

Almost mint with very nice paintwork all round the model. Left hand door transfer has small loss to top edge is the only fault noted.
Hard to find much better than this.

A super box with intact cellophane. A possible tiny starter crack on edge but minimal. Nice to see the inner polystyrene base is complete with no breaks and the backing card retained in perfect shape with the cyclist in a sealed bubble attached.
The outer box card is fresh with a firm header card. There are starter tears to the end flaps but no repairs carried out or needed.
