The Sunbeam Imp 340 was renumbered and named from 328 Hillman Imp with some differences. Produced in similar numbers of around 130,000 units each.
A 328 box was used with a white wrap over label 340 advertising the ‘Sunbeam Imp 1967 Monte Carlo Winner’.
Finished in metallic blue with white coach lines it had six jewelled headlights, silver spun shaped hubs and fine treaded tyres. Complete with full racing number ’77’ on the side doors and ‘Monte Carlo’ transfers on bonnet and boot. It features an opening lift up rear window and had all round suspension the rear now partly collapsed.
It comes in a blue and yellow picture box with promotional white wrap over sticker and has an original instruction leaflet within.
Light tested and totally original.

This lovely model with perfect transfers would be mint but for the rear suspension partly collapsed. Superb paint finish.
Unless you want to race it around the floor this will look wonderful as a display piece in any display.
It has racing no ’77’ and numbers plates ‘JDU47E’
