A lovely piece of Corgi memorabilia with Corgi 266 Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Complete with all four original figures and wrap-around cloud scene! Original and best 1st issue with the scarce gold band around the radiator before the windscreen.
With complete jewelled headlights, front and rear number plates are intact, as are the delicate carriage lamps. The car functions well: the wings flip out when the handbrake is depressed.
Light tested and totally original.

Possibly never removed from it’s carton until I photographed it this fantastic original Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is in very near mint condition. It still has its original ties to base. Just a couple of tiny marks from mint.

A very nice box. Tiniest starter tear in the well shaped cellophane window. Nice firm upright header card. No hint of sun fading. Really nice end flaps. The inner background surround is as new as is the membership slip.
Sound internal plastic sleeve.
A firm Corgi favourite – one of the most decorative and much-loved Corgi models.
