Description
One of the most popular Corgi ever made. This was the first James Bond Aston Martin D.B.5 issued in gold with the second edition internal packing stand with plain orange platform. A wonderful model with unique special points namely the ejector seat, bullet proof rear screen and machine guns at the front. Made as a representation of the car used in ‘Goldfinger’. Finished in all over brushed gold with a red interior and cast spoke wheels. James is at the wheel with a bandit sitting alongside ready to be ejected.
The Instruction Packet has been carefully opened with the all-important Secret Instructions neatly folded inside which detail the retractable machine guns, opening roof and ejector seat, rear bullet screen and telescopic over-riders.
The often-missing original badge is present still on its backing sheet. The spare villain figure is included too!

Lovely mint paint work, I can not see a mark. The special features all work but a little stiff and the ejector seat works well but needs a little help pressing down with say a pencil. The secret instruction pack has been opened but is complete.

The outer box is clean, bright and complete with all end flaps intact. Very nice indeed. Silky finish shows careful handling. A black felt pen has been used to one end flap to cover a shop keepers price. The inner stand is also very nice. No faults .
