A scarce model due to popularity and short run. This example is in beige with a grey interior and number plates reading 'BML 112'. Included is a spare wheel mounted on the roof with spot beam and flag transfers to bonnet and racing numbers '6' on each door. Inside is a driver with a black three pronged steering wheel.
A very nice example with a showroom presence.

Shop Stock.
Shop stock means models have never been in circulation. They have come straight from the selling supplier. There are no touch-ups unless by the factory and no repairs to model or box. It does not mean every model and box are perfect. Models, particular Dinky Toys left the factory with many imperfections. Ex; Chipping, (red and yellow paint is well known) and box rubs and crushes through storage.
Supplied from a Somerset shop owners estate in September 2022 who retained some shop stock Dinky Toys in long term storage dating from 1953-1961.
Here is a Jaguar 3.4 Saloon in maroon with an off white interior, silver spun shaped wheels, 'M' tyres and shiny black gloss base plate.

Dinky Toys 196 Holden Special
Dinky 196 Holden Special. Metallic Copper. Mint. Issued 1963-70. This is an example in metallic copper with a cream roof and pale green interior with silver spun wheels. It has a bonnet with silver detailed engine and an opening boot and a brown suitcase inside. The base is grey. A very nice model in superb condition with a very nice box.

Dinky Toys 197 Morris Mini Traveller
This model made available from my own collection.
After selling the item in my sales stock this week a further request came three days later and this model though sold for the same price was from my collection
The Morris and its counterpart the Austin 7 numbered 199 had a very successful run with various colour and internal seat changes which also received a late base change. This model is a late issue which had a short run at the end of its life. This dark green model can be found with yellow, blue and red interior. This Morris Traveller in it's late dark green body and yellow interior is a scarce find especially in this condition. It has silver spun shaped wheels, 'M' tyres and a late issue matt black base plate. Tail lights were also added. A hard to find model which has great presentation. Perfect for the cabinet and on display. Museum quality.
Fully light tested. No touch-ins.
