Dinky 521 Bedford Artic Lorry in early issue scarce brick red and black front and wheel arches. A complete '20mph' transfer is in place at the rear and an un-painted two hook.

A scarce early issue Bedford Artic Lorry in brick red and black front and wheel arches. It has black hubs and well shaped tyres. A complete '20mph' transfer is in place at the rear and an un-painted two hook.
It comes in a correct early brown box with a red and white wrap over label.
Light tested with an ultra violet lamp and is original.

Dinky Toys 408/522 Big Bedford Lorry
Made available from my own collection.
This version of the Big Bedford Lorry, is finished in maroon with a tan back and cream ST wheels. It has black ST tyres, an un-painted tow hook and spare tyre mounted to the chassis below. It has 522 cast to the chassis.
It comes in a 408 yellow lift off box.
This model changed it's reference number three times during its production and many examples were matched up with new or old box reference supplies. More often than not a model casting does not provide the same number to the box. but was as supplied.
Totally original and light tested.

French Dinky Toys 24E/524 Renault Dauphine
This Bright Blue Renault Dauphine with 24E cast into the black shiny gloss base plate comes with the early convex wheels and full glazing. It has some collectors added stickers depicting visitor sites where this little car has journeyed. A harder colour to source.

French Dinky Toys 530 Citroen DS19
Supplied from the 'Pembroke' collection.
Part of an amazing childhood collection and most models like this example in superb condition.
Citroen finished in avocado green with a pale grey roof, ivory interior, jewelled headlights, concave hubs, black rivetted base, original ‘Dunlop’ tyres with a fine tread, black riveted base. It has a yellow rear number plate, rear lights and features an opening boot. Suspension.
It comes in a picture box showing a blue model. and has the extra description tab attached to one side flap.
Black light tested and totally original.

Dinky Toys 531 Leyland Comet Stake Lorry
This is a very nice example of the 531 Leyland Stake Lorry finished in blue with a brown back and blue early ridge wheels with grey tyres. It has a screw back with a spare mounted below. There is no number cast below.
This is a harder issue to find with brown and blue finish.
It comes in an early blue box with an orange wrap over label.
Fully light tested and no touch-ins seen.

Dinky Toys 531 Leyland Comet Stake Lorry
Supplied from a Somerset shop owners estate in September 2022 who retained some shop stock Dinky Toys dating from 1953-1961.
Believed never to have been in circulation and where I have viewed and selected around 100 stock for sale. No touch-ups noted except a factory touch to a Weetabix Van which is known to have regularly occurred. If you want to know what is there just give me a call.
