Supplied from the 'Welsh' collection.
This is a bright blue R.A.C Land Rover with blue metal canopy, grey straight plastic aerial and early silver flat hubs with no suspension. A rear metal tow hook. It has the R.A.C crest on each side of the metal canopy and 'Radio Rescue' transfer on the roof headboard.
It comes in a blue and yellow picture box.

This is an early transitional example usually found in a trade box but supplied here in a transitional and short run dual numbered box. The Estate Car comes in the usual two tone brown finish but as an early example has the darker brown hubs and small writing base plate. It has black well shaped smooth tyres.
The box is the yellow picture style.

Scarce interior variation.
This is a scarce version of the El Camino finished in turquoise and white with a yellow interior and silver spun shaped hubs. Usually found with a red interior and occasionally a blue or green. It has a black matt 449 base plate with domed rivets so probably the last issue of this pick-up truck. It has silver shaped spun hubs and later style 'M' tyres.

A rare transitional model in violet-blue & tan with rare box. The last two images show the colour variation with the sea-blue and tan version.
This rare colour Hudson Commodore is finished in violet blue with a tan canopy and hubs. It has black smooth tyres and has an early small writing 139b base plate.
It comes in a dual numbered yellow picture box and has a factory violet blue colour spot one end.

Dinky 171 Hudson Commodore Lowline
Supplied from my own collection.
Rare variation Blue and grey lowline with beige hubs not the usual blue.
This rare variation issued in 1958-59 only had a very short production run. Very few were produced with this hub colour variation and this only one of two examples I have seen in 4o years.
Late features which include tail lights and grip 'M' tyres. It sits on a large writing un-numbered base plate.
It comes with a yellow picture box and correct colour end spots.
