Finished in blue with grey wheels this is a rare colour to find. It comes in a 151 blue spot picture box.
It has a small writing base no rear pillars (early version) and no name on the roof underside. It comes with original black smooth tyres now firming up with no flats..

Dinky Toys 167 A. C. Aceca
This is a scarce late version in Burgundy over cream with silver painted wheels. It has bobbly 'M' tyres and a later issue black shiny base plate..
First issued in 1958 this model went through various colour, wheel and base changes.
The all cream model is particularly hard to source and can be found in matt and semi gloss finish. All models had window glazing. There were also three box changes.

Issued during 1959 only, this is one of the harder-to-find advertising vans made by Dinky during this period. This Morris van has a two-tone blue paint finish with mid blue wheels. Distinctive “Have a Capstan” transfers on both sides.

Spot-On Toys 278 Mercedes 230SL
Spot On made by Triang were originally launched in 1959 and produced in Belfast Northern Ireland. Their production was short lived and ceased when Triang bought dinky toys in 1967. Today they are highly sought after models by the collector. Good boxes are even harder to find as the construction was not as strong as those of competitor makers.
This model is a later issue in metallic Copper with spun hubs a grey interior and black rubber grip tyres. This was a left hand drive model with a lady driver and male passenger with a black steering wheel. This model has suspension, a grey base and full glazing. Unboxed.
