Dinky Toys 039CU Lincoln Zephyr US Export

Supplied from my own collection. Here is a very rare issue of the US Export Lincoln Zephyr in red over maroon with red ridged wheels. It has very nice hardened, black smooth tyres with one small flat to rear,  and an open tow hook base plate. A very rare US export and hard to find in any condition. Free of any interference and added touch-ins.

Dinky Toys 039eu Chrysler Saloon

Announcing a "Diecast Gem" American classic in all over cream with green ridged wheels. This is a very scarce US Export. The base plate has an open towing cut out. Never an easy model to find in any condition. It comes Unboxed as sold from a shop keepers box of six models. This model became one of six American classic cars, affectionately known as the 39 series. The Chrysler was original launched in the pre war period 1939 alongside the other 5 models and eventually came to the end of its life in 1952. In 1950 each model was given special liveries for the US export market and three of these models were painted in two tones including the Chrysler. The US exports have become particularly sought after and when in really good condition fetch a premium. This model is one of those. Very rare. It would be hard to find a better model. Museum quality.

This example is in metallic blue a red interior and steering wheel. Opening doors, bonnet and boot that come with 3 suitcases. Shaped spun hubs-suspension-jewelled headlights. In addition an original owners applied stickers such as number plates  tax disc and GB stickers. Not forgetting the all important corgi dog on the rear shelf! A bright example with a super box. Scarce 'Cadillac' version. This USA Police Car is the Cadillac version in black with an off white interior, silver spun shaped hubs, 'M' tyres and a un-numbered semi gloss base. It has a solid red roof light, all round suspension. All windows are closed. Transfers for 'Police' on bonnet and boot, white panel front doors with 'Police' across them. An original white plastic rear aerial. Fully light tested and original.

Dinky Toys 260 Morris Royal Mail Van

Shop Stock. Shop stock means models have never been in circulation. They have come straight from the selling supplier. There are no touch-ups unless by the factory and no repairs to model or box. It does not mean every model and box are perfect. Models, particular Dinky Toys left the factory with many imperfections. Ex; Chipping, (red and yellow paint is well known) and box rubs and crushes through storage. Supplied from a Somerset shop owners estate in September 2022 who retained some shop stock Dinky Toys in long term storage dating from 1953-1961. Here is a Morris Royal Mail Van in red and black roof. Matching red ridged hubs with black smooth tyres. Light tested and totally original.
