Dinky Toys 505 Foden 2nd Cab Chain Lorry
Supplied from a Somerset shop owners estate in September 2022 who retained some shop stock Dinky Toys dating from 1953-1961.
Believed never to have been in circulation and where I have viewed and selected around 100 stock for sale. No touch-ups noted except a factory touch to a Weetabix Van which is known to have regularly occurred. If you want to know what is there just give me a call.

Dinky Toys 908 Mighty Antar with Transformer
This is a stunning and rare version of the Mighty Antar Transformer Lorry. The cab is deep yellow with window glazing , Very rare Yellow 'ST' wheels and black 'ST' tyres. The trailer that can be separated is in grey with wheels and tyres matching the cab and with red drop down trailer leavers with black and white hazard transfers on the underside. A spare tyre is mounted on the front of the trailer. A separate free standing grey plastic transformer with accessories sits on the trailer. This model is one of the rarest 1960 large commercials. Sought after in its usual finish with red ST wheels this version you rarely see. with yellow wheels.

Dinky Toys 914 A.E.C Articulated Lorry (British Road Services’
Available for sale from my own long standing personal Dinky collection.
The articulated trailer is in grey with a red plastic rear tilt and has a complete number plate at the front and rear of the trailer. There is a black petrol tank attached to the side of the red cab chassis.

Dinky Toys 917 Guy Spratts Van
This 'Spratts' Van has a red cab and chassis and matching ST wheels. The box section is mainly cream with red in the lower section ?Spratt's advertising is on each box side. A spare tyre is held secure under the Dinky Supertoys chassis with large commercial smooth tyres all round. These vans created extra play appeal with their rear opening doors. This was the fourth Guy advertising Van issue following the Slumberland, Lyons and Weetabix under its early coding 514. In 1954 through a major Dinky renumbering program the Spratts van was recoded to 917 until its end in 1956. As with all these vans they are hard to find in any reasonable condition and are one of the most popular areas for Dinky Toy collectors. Spratt's was the world's first large-scale manufacturer of dog biscuits. Established by James Spratt he launched a UK operation around 1860. Interestingly this was the first company to erect a billboard in London.

One of the Iconic large advertising Guy Vans this is the Spratts model finished in cream over red with red ST wheels and black Supertoys tyres.
The two back doors open. Below is mounted a spare wheel and tyre.
On each side of the van are transfers in black over the cream body announcing 'Spratts' in the shape of a Scotty dog and below running the full length of the van in black
reads 'Spratts Bonio Ovals & Dog Cakes'
It comes in the 917 later blue stripped box.

Dinky 917 Mercedes Truck & Trailer is a very scarce version in blue & yellow, with white roof ventilator & back tail lifts, yellow back with blue plastic tilts. Red interior, jewelled headlights.
It comes with a white and yellow end flap picture box with a bright inner pictorial stand. A weak box style for this model.

Featured in the new Sales Book 10 released May 2023.
Bedford Artic lorry finished in yellow with black front wheel arches and bumper and red ridged wheels to the front and red ST wheels to the rear.
. A complete '20mph' sign is at the rear with an un-painted tow hook. A spare tyre mounted behind the cab. Early no windows version.
It comes in a 921/521 blue and white stripped dual numbered picture box.

I am pleased to offer for sale the most sought-after Big Bedford advertising lorry! This fine model has a vibrant cherry red cab and chassis and a bright yellow back. More commonly found with the ‘Bean Can’ transfers, this scarce version has the all-important ‘Sauce Bottle’ transfers in mint condition on both sides:
It has opening rear doors which open and close smoothly.
It comes in the correctly illustrated blue stripped box.
Light tested and not an inkling of a touch-in to be found anywhere.
