Supplied from the Co Down collection.
This is a bright blue R.A.C Land Rover with blue metal canopy, grey straight plastic aerial and early silver flat wheels with no suspension. A rear metal tow hook. It has the R.A.C crest on each side of the metal canopy and 'Radio Rescue' transfer on the roof headboard.
It comes in a blue and yellow picture box.

Dinky Toys 417 Leyland Comet Wagon
Here is a rare opportunity to purchase an almost mint example (shop fresh) of this sought after and popular Dinky toy.
A scarce colour variation and last issue, with flat top riveted back rather than the screw fitting, is with a yellow cab and chassis with a peppermint stake back and green ST wheels.
417 is inscribed on the base of the stake back. It has grey ST tyres and a spare below.
Four new tyres would upgrade this model mint. It would be hard to find much better and totally original paint. A real show stopper.

Dinky Toys 417 Leyland Comet Wagon
Supplied from my own collection on request.
This version of the Leyland Comet Wagon is finished in a Violet blue cab with deep yellow stake back and blue ST wheels not the more often seen red wheels. There is a tow hook to the rear, a screw fitting to hold platform to chassis which in turns holds and supports a spare wheel below and tyre below. Grey supertoy tyres all around.
Fully light tested and no touch-ins.
It comes in a bright yellow 417 lift off box.

This is a 2nd issue 1963-65 breakdown truck finished in gleaming bright red with a yellow metal open rear cover and metal parts crank and winch, With a yellow interior, silver roof spot light and silver spun shaped wheels and side mounted spare with suspension. This was such a detailed model.
It comes with 'Breakdown Service' side labels.

This is a scarce late issue of the 418 Leyland Comet Wagon finished in green with orange back and green ST wheels the back is fixed by a flat head rivet not screw and nut.
It has the 418 cast below with spare tyre intact.
It comes in a yellow 418 lift off box.

This very rare late model of Spot-On had only a very short run. Vulnerable to damage due to the attractive for display but weak cellophane window box. This example is in amazing condition. Description. The Land Rover and trailer are in drab green with cast aluminium wheels and black grip tyres. The trailer holds 3 missile rockets and are all there. The Land Rover has a silver cast base and the trailer is black. It is mounted on its original securing plate.
A ‘Diecast Gem’ Very scarce and in exceptional condition. Cabinet or showroom quality.
